Aries (March 20-April 19)
You must embody the principle of strategy. That means you need to think clearly, and work with a plan; and with any good plan, it needs to be reviewed on a continuous basis. This kind of clarity may be difficult when you actually seem to be embodying the principle of emotional impulse. Though you may have been struggling with this for weeks, you're finally in a composed enough state where your mind can take over the process of guiding your life. What is most likely to distract your attention are concerns over your security, which you may translate into safety. Remember, this is about the feeling -- not the real thing, but the feeling means a lot.
 
Taurus (April 19-May 20)
You must decide if you are finally ready to share yourself. You must also decide what you are willing to receive, and moreover, what you want to receive. There is no point to life save for the kind of exchange you know you're capable of. Because you're a Taurus, I suggest that you take the questions in this order -- giving first, receiving second. You are eminently capable of this thing known as "taking care of yourself." There are times when you can convince yourself you're self-sufficient. Look around at the world and see how many people this is really true for; notice how isolating this notion of self-sufficiency is. Figuring out where it comes from in your life would tap you into some profound spiritual progress.
 
Gemini (May 20-June 21)
Do not underestimate the originality of your message, your ideas, your creative talent or your vision for yourself. I say this recognizing how far the world has to stretch in order to do anything original. Yet this is immensely complicated by an even deeper drive to be acceptable. So I suggest you take a Sharpie and write on your computer monitor, "You cannot be original and be a conformist at the same time." Since your message to the world is inherently loving, creative and sensitive, you can scrap the whole issue of acceptability. This will save you incalculable energy. However, you may be shocked when you recognize just how much it takes to set aside what you think other people think of you.
 
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
What you want and how you plan to get it are finally coming into alignment. However, you are going to need to reassess your strategy from top to bottom, and that includes reassessing your desires as well. Do you really want what you think you want so dearly? Don't be afraid to question your goals. It's only by having clear objectives that you can have a clue as to your direction. True, there have been plenty of other times when you could make your decisions based on what feels right, or based on following the contours of the river you seem to be traveling. Now is not one of them. At the moment, you need to be precise, creative and clever. You have a lot of other things going for you, and one of them is an enormous amount of respect from the world. Therefore, set your goals high.
 
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23)
If you have some kind of phobia about long-range planning, now is the time to confront it. Or conversely, if projecting the course of your life into the future in a tangible way raises any other fears, now is the time to face them. At this point in history, we have made the fear of fear our cultural religion. This is a long and difficult digression from how excellent life can be. Many doors continue to open up in your life; people are expressing their devotion to you in some form every day and perhaps every hour. Do you recognize it when you see it? Does it mean something to you? If you find yourself overlooking the tangible gestures of love and commitment that others offer you, please pause and notice.
 
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
You may sense that people seem antagonistic toward you when you speak or act from the core of your creative heart. It is true, there's a dimension of anger that this thing known as 'the world' expresses toward those who exceed boredom. What people do not understand is how much you've had to overcome in order to express yourself at all. I suggest, then, that you recognize the frustrations of others as being a direct outgrowth of their own long-term struggles. These however, are not your problem. All you need to do is keep your perspective, and proceed with the rather amazing process of picking locks, washing windows and mixing dried-out paints with fresh, new water. All the colors are still there.
 
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
There are phases of time when sexual energy is most appropriately directed at healing, and when healing is most appropriately directed at sexual energy. This used to be a bigger taboo than it is today, but it's still veiled by several layers of secrecy. For example, where exactly do you find this healing? Who is qualified to assist? Why would one need such a thing? Why not just emphasize another aspect of life? There are not easy answers to any but the last of these questions. In Western society, we claim to value sex but practice an avoidance of sexuality. I suggest you read some books and articles on these subjects, and engage people in your environment in conversations that exceed any depth you have explored previously. Start with noticing their responses. See if you feel you have some special role, as a result.
 
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Do you feel like the spiritual forces you have entrusted with your fate are really taking care of you? You can judge based on your sense of safety, your anger level, and how you perceive the world as relating to your desire. Do you get angry when expressing your needs? This could be summed up simply enough as a matter of faith. It is true that you were taught you need to be the human can opener, to probe the mysteries of where nobody will go but everyone wants to go. I suggest you be bold about your faith. Make your emotional needs known, and go directly in the regions where you see the likelihood they will be met. Push into the unfamiliar and make demands of the unknown. Be gentle, but do not equivocate.
 
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22)
You may need to become accustomed to an anxiety level that is entirely alien to you. Normally you have a way of coasting over the surface of a certain area of your consciousness; now, you are being pulled in deeply. You are finding pockets of mental and emotional energy you did not know existed. This journey has only begun, and the initial phase has arrived with an enormous amount of psychic protection. What I am suggesting is that it's safe to go deep early in the process; it is safe, and it's well advised, because you can get a lot of practice and learn the lay of an unfamiliar landscape. There will come a time when you'll need to explore that territory without the guide who is now accompanying you.
 
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20)
You have the strength to meet a challenge someone is delivering. You are stable enough to withstand any emotional turbulence, even as you so poignantly feel what you're being confronted with. Keep with the process and you can turn the situation entirely to a constructive and creative endeavor: you can go as deep as you want. Don't mistake energy that seems confrontational as energy that is attempting to avoid you. Remember, though it's often very difficult I know, that most people have no clue to ask for what they need. Damn, they hardly admit to themselves what they need. So, let's just say that people have bizarre ways of asking for what they want, which you may have to translate from an odd dialect of tagalog. Fortunately, you know that particular language.
 
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19)
You are finally discovering not only how much you have, but how much access to something beyond yourself that you have. It's as though a tap has opened up and you can access resources in a different dimension of the cosmos. Though this may feel infinite, it's nothing to squander. Organize your use of these resources carefully. Focus on your intentions and remember, there is a reason why you have access to this kind of spiritual and material wealth. Protect and preserve a portion of them; be conscious of how you distribute the abundant energy you have, and please keep practicing the wisdom that less is more.
 
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
The time has come to push the boundaries of purity. You're under several influences urging you to play an extremely clean game, and to express yourself in only the most refined ways. It's like you feel you owe it to the world to be nothing but a perfectly efficient blue flame. There are advantages to this, true. But at the moment, you may need to be something else, or to take that focused ray of fire and set that torch wherever you feel it needs to go. Remember, this is not something you owe anyone. The only debt you have is to yourself, and it's just about paid off. Right about now, your life starts to be about reaping the profits of existence, and making choices that remind you how authentic you are. This is to say, forget purity and do what you want.
